Development Concept：
We wanted to create a Smelt Head that could be used to target steelhead—fish that, in strong currents, have the power and speed to dart around like bullets, yet are extremely selective feeders.
“Delicate, yet tough”… With that challenging goal in mind, development of the Smelt Head Finesse moved forward to meet the demands of such technical fishing. After extensive trial and error, what we ultimately produced was a finesse swimbait head that is also highly effective for bass fishing.
When the rolling action generated by the triangular blade synchronizes with the action of the soft bait, the lure comes alive and begins to swim with an incredibly lifelike movement.

Key Features of the Smelt Head Finesse：
The triangular blade mounted on the underside of the jighead oscillates left and right during the retrieve, generating a rolling action in the jighead itself.
 
By combining:
the soft bait’s movement
the jighead’s rolling action
the blade’s flashing effect
…it creates a complex, highly lifelike swimming action.
